Hmm….had a long stressful day today at work, but had to pause and pray about it. Took a deep breath and said to myself….what I tell many folks. In 100 years, who is going to care?
Honestly, we should all have that mindset. In the larger scheme of things does it really matter if you had a good day or a bad day? After all, no one is promised tomorrow. Anything can happen. Quote from Richard Pryor…”we didn’t ask to be born and we don’t know when we are going to die, so you best have fun and plenty of it.” There are no do overs.
That is very true and prophetic from a certain point of view. In today’s environment, many people get stressed about things that really don’t matter. Ask anyone who has survived cancer, a serious car accident or family tragedy and they would most likely say the same thing. Live life to the fullest since you only get one. If you have that first and foremost in your mind, life gets a lot easier.
Well….I’ve owned this site for years and never got around to actually blogging. So lately, I have bestowed words of wisdom on many folks and they suggested I post a blog about those words. Soon, I will gather these thoughts and post them. Until then.
