Who cares?

Hmm….had a long stressful day today at work, but had to pause and pray about it. Took a deep breath and said to myself….what I tell many folks. In 100 years, who is going to care?

Honestly, we should all have that mindset. In the larger scheme of things does it really matter if you had a good day or a bad day? After all, no one is promised tomorrow. Anything can happen. Quote from Richard Pryor…”we didn’t ask to be born and we don’t know when we are going to die, so you best have fun and plenty of it.” There are no do overs.

That is very true and prophetic from a certain point of view. In today’s environment, many people get stressed about things that really don’t matter. Ask anyone who has survived cancer, a serious car accident or family tragedy and they would most likely say the same thing. Live life to the fullest since you only get one. If you have that first and foremost in your mind, life gets a lot easier.

I have spent my entire life dedicated to helping others. Although I have an advanced degree, I have never and will never stop learning and giving. If you stop learning, you are not living. You get what you give. To aid my learning, I have traveled the world and have had the good fortune to come into contact with some interesting people and cultures. I have been exposed to multiple languages, religions, music and foods; learned another language, became a great cook, and experienced things that most would take many lifetimes to experience. I am an analyst, engineer, musician and mentor. In effect, I am a renaissance man. I believe one can learn anything regardless of mental capacity, given enough time. I am available to help with that because you will always pay for what you don't know.
